Just let us know what you would like your domain name to be (the ".com", ".org", or ".net") and we can register the name for you, design your site, and host your site - let us handle those "little details" for you! We've been doing this for some time now and have found the very best ways to get a web site up and running and then keep it up and running. Domain Name Registration:
A "domain name" is the name of your web site (i.e., domain.com). Believe it or not, domain names are highly sought after, so if you have one in mind, you should "register" it as soon as possible so that no one else will register the name you would like to use! You can register a domain name at any time and it wil stay "parked" until you are ready to activate your actual web site. We can handle this process for you (and prefer to, since there are things that can go wrong!). We charge $15 per year to register (and renew) your domain name.
Web Design:
Let us know what you would like on your site and we will work with you to develop your site to your satisfaction! Cost is $25 per hour. The total cost will depend on how many graphics are needed, whether you provide them in digital format to us or hard copies that need to be scanned/edited, the amount of pages you would like your site to have, whether you would like interactive forms, and other options you may choose. Basically, a site that is mostly text-based will be less expensive than a site with a lot of graphics, with the average usually being between $200 - $500. Once you submit your request to us and we look over the specifics of your site, we can give you a better estimate of your total costs. We require a $50 deposit at the time we begin work on your site, with the remainder being due at the completion of your site.
Web Maintenance:
After your site is completed, we charge $25 per hour to maintain your site. This would apply to any changes or additions you would like at any time.
Web Hosting:
"Hosting" means that we upload your site to a server that can "broadcast" your site to the internet. Hosting charges are as follows:
- $15 per month
- $36 per quarter (save $3 per month)
- $120 per year (save $5 per month)
